Do You Stack Up...Distressed

This week at Do You Stack Up, we offer our second challenge .... We challenge your creative cogs to turn out creations that are distressed...no stress, or course!  So grab your sandpaper, inks, paints and show us your stuff!  Here's my sampling for you:

Ingredients used: Digi Image - Whoopsi Daisy; Cardstock - Rosies - Distressed Papers - Magazine Freebies; Markers - Promarker, Marvy Le Plume; Stardust Pens - Sakura; Metallic Pens - Signo; Chalk Ink - Colorbox Q; Pearl, Rhinestones - Kaisercraft; Flowers - Bizzy Becs.

When I saw this image, I knew I had to give her lots of layers of colour - couldn't help all the dress ruffles! So I used several colours, to fluff it up. And I used lots of glitter colour of course! Her skin is coloured with a Le Plume marker, and her hair with an Aqua Promarker.  Distressing is not my forte, so I opted to use distressed patterns in the papers, and inks to  edge said papers.  (I need to get gritty and  play with sandpaper!) I had to add a pearl to the bow in her hair, and flowers... and her pose just screamed for a flower in her hand...

Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Whoopsi Daisy Digi Stamps, and they are offering our challenge winner 2 sheets of their Digital Stamps. Woohoo! Don't forget to drop by the DYSU challenge blog and see what the DT created for you...
