Here's a card I created for the challenge at Dude Time Doodles Challenges.... the lucky winner gets to be guest designer at their blog for February! I'm using the Burger and Fries image provided 'free' for the challenge!
Ingredients (for the card, not the burger!): Digi Image; cardstock - Cre8tiv; Markers - Marvy Le Plume; Glaze Pens - Sakura; Copper brads; Gold Sentiment sticker; toothpick.
I decided it would be a 3D card. I printed the image 3 times - 1 was left whole, the second was trimmed of the chips (fries), and from the third image I used the bun top with salad, and the food tray. After all the fussy cutting, I set to colour the image - the pieces that would show - with markers, layering as I went. I used glaze pens over the salad, cheese, and bun seeds so they look glossy and have a little texture. I assembled the layers using flat DS tape, but using foam tape to lift a little of the tray liner (front and centre, and far right) - a few cuts were necessary here. In assembling the rest of the card, I just added the green mat with brads - then using foam tape I added the finished image. I printed an Aussie flag, and added it to a tooth pick, which secured nicely behind the image.
Thanks for peepin!

Hi Pauline! thanks so much for coming over and joining the fun at Dude Time Doodles!! I LOVE the little flag that you added, our burgers used to come that way but no one uses the little flag picks anymore. I think if they saw your card they would definitely make a come back! PERFECT birthday card!
Terrific results with this fun image. Thanks for joining the fun at Dude Time Doodles.
I really like how all the elements of your card come together to make such a fantastic card. I really like the flag embellie - really sets off and completes the whole thing. Thanks for playing along with Dude Time Doodles this week.
