You Light Up My Life, Rudolph!

I love this funky reindeer image from SNB .... it's called "You Light Up My Life" and includes the text sentiment as well...

Ingredients used: Cardstock - Rosies; Markers Promarker Aquas; Stardust Pens - Sakura; Brads - Craft Affair; Green Rhinstone - Kaisercraft;Red Glass Heart Bead - Ribtex; Printed Ribbon.

I coloured the image frame with stardust pens, and coloured the reindeer with Promarker Aqua pens (I love the watercolour finish they give - I just wish had more of them!)  Setting aside the image, I created the layers - adding ribbon to the green CS, then adding white brads, and fixing it to the red cardbase.  I added a heart bead to an eyepin, put it onto a jumpring, then secured it to the image with a button brad. It dangles quite nicely.

I had removed the sentiment from the image, so I trimmed it, adhered it in place, and added a rhinestone. I had this in mind for a teenager, hopefully laddie will think it's appropriate!
