Yikes, my post is late..... if you have time for one more challenge this week before Christmas, the For Fun Challenge this week is an ANYTHING GOES challenge....we're taking som 'pressure' off, so create anything you like!
I've finished my last lot of photo Christmas Cards, and this is the creation I share with you now:
Ingredients: Vintage Postcard image; cardstock - Rosies; Rhinestones - Kaisercraft; Lace; Glitterglue - Papermania.
This was an easy card to create and replicate. I let the 'image' do the talking, and left embellishments to a minimum... I photo printed the image, and cropped it leaving a white border. I matted it onto a navy blue, and added a border of white scalloped lace behind. I adhered this topper directly to the white textured cardbase. As the image had a great light source, creating shadows, I added irridescent glitter glue along the snow lined branches, roofline, the snow tracks, and anywhere I imagined I'd see a twinkle in theimage. I simply added the three rhinestones to finish. I ended up making 12 of these cards... or at least 12 cards using the same image, although they vary a little, they were all on a blue and white theme.
I hope you'll have time to join in our challenge at For Fun this week, and stay tuned for the new year, as we have our challenge calendar set, and we will be announcing our new Design Team Family too! Wait till you see their creations....WOW! If you pop on over to For Fun now, you might even snap a sneak peak at some 'early' creations from the new DT members.... sssshhhhhhh....
Thanks for peepin' and have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!
