Black, White, with One

No it's not my coffee order, it's the challenge at For Fun Challenges this week.... and I apologise for my post being late, we've had unavoidable weather issues!

The Challenge is being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs, and they are generously offering our challenge winner 4 Sassy Studio digi images of their choice! Yummy!

The DT outdid themselves.... I chose to add red to the black and white, a popular colour palette!  Here is my creation for you, using the image "Chrissy's Prom":

Ingredients used:  Cardstock - Kaisercraft, Basix; Paper - Creative Memories; Markers - Bic, Glaze Pens - Sakura; Rhinestones, Pearls - Kaisercraft; Black Tuille - Birch; Ribbon - unknown.

I trimmed the image, then coloured with markers.  I added glaze pens to her dress and hair ... the wet look on the dress makes it look like taffeta fabric.  After assembling the layers I wrapped a strip of cut away organza ribbon, then adhered it to the red cardbase.  With some creative cutting, I wove a strip of black tuille through the image, to ressemble  an evening wrap.  After fixing the image to the card, I added some rhinestones, and some pearls at her neckline.

I hope you'll join us in the  For Fun Challenge... there's still time!
