Stitch In Time

I have FINALLY gotten a challenge into the Michelle Perkett Studio!  Michelle will be so proud of me ... I've been a fan of her images for so long now, and never really gotten them into challenges, not many, anyway.  But this week I did! Challenge #34 Stitch In Time.  And I even had time to do real hand stitching! Here 'tis....
Ingredients used: Juniper & Cecilia MPS image, markers, White & Bazzill CS, Vintage fabric, MME deco paper (I think), 3 Laces, Thread, Sequin Flowers, Heart Pin.

With the coloured and mounted image, I pierced holes for the backhand stitching, added brads, and set it aside.  I fixed the floral paper and fabric layers together.  I added a layer of white lace, and of pink over the top and secured this piece to the cardbase. I slid the image just under the lace.  I wrapped the end of the flower/pin bouquet with tape and lace, so that the pin's sharpie wasn't out, and finished with a bow of lace.

In taking the photo of this card, the colouring (to me) doesn't seem right - the paper and fabric in reality are much closer in colour families than appears here. Thanks for peeping!

hugs and blessings,
Pauline
