Herbert Gnome is Home!

StretchNBubbles has released Herbert Gnome .... so cute... reminds me of the felties we made as kids. What a colour dilemma I had.  I associate gnomes with The Netherlands, so I had to use orange.  And his hat reminds me of the fairy toadstool cap (red and white) so the hat had to be red.  So I went on my merry way colouring the image.... and then realised I'd have to match papers with my colour scheme!  Ha ha! And I was still toying with the idea of having an image with multiples of it behind, like a group of people.... so this time I did it!

Ingredients used: Herbert Gnome image (SNB), Cardstock (SU), Deco paper (MME), markers, Samura Glaze Pens, AB seed beads, green brads.

I repeated the image to create a group of gnomes, leaving one larger as my 'focal gnome', and coloured with markers.  I repeated him separately, and coloured that image the same, but topped the colour with glaze pens. I layered the paper and carstock, mounted the main image flat, and  mounted the glazed gnome with foam tape.  I added brads, seed beads to their hats and completed the card.

My apologies for it looking a little grainy... a lightglobe blew just before I took the photo.... and I haven't popped out for the groceries yet! Thanks for peeping!

hugs and blessings,
Pauline
