An Edited Re-Post with updates in italics...
I played again this month in the Star Scrapbooking monthly card challenge, with the February theme being Friends Forever. Here is my entry:
I used Bazzill cardstock for the cardbase and mats. I've used a vintage print that I have reproduced as a photo. I used a layer of quilting fabric square and various laces to trim, along with chocolate brown adhesive pearls. To finish off, I've used an organza and lace embroidered layered flower, with a bling centre. I just love that old lace..... along side the thin organza ribbon that is edged with the wee gold hearts... love that too...
Thank you to EVERYONE who voted for my entry. I am so grateful that so many took the time to view the entries and then voted for my creation, and then.....took the time to email me and let me know they had voted! There were some lovely entries this month!
I didn't win the challenge, but I got an honorable mention as a runner up. Which is exciting too! Besides, I'm in for the challenge, not the prize.... that's just a nice surprise at the end! Thanks everyone! BIG HUGS!!!
