MMSC36.... it's Midnight Madness!

Okie doke... here's my entry for the latest Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (#36).

Cardstock is Bazzil and cardbase is DCWV (Whimsy stack).  I've used a vintage photo as the image.  I've layered crocheted lace over navy cardstock to accent the lace pattern.  Around the photo mat, you'll find tiny gold hearts - this is organza ribbon that is doubled edged with the hearts - I've split the ribbon to use just one line or hearts (saving more for later use!).  The flower/button accent on the right is a three layer white organza flower - which is actually a lace/ribbon.... I've used a single flower, and split it apart to colour them.. with H20s - Dutch Iris, and Solar Gold.... topped with a vintage button.   I've added a few wee velvet blue blossoms, and then edged the out half with diamond bling....

What a wonderful card. It is a vintage feast for the eyes. Reminds me of grandma's bathroom wallpaper and the lace was much like her bedspread. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. As always, thank you so much for playing the Midnight Madness sketch challenge this week and be sure to swing back by for a sneak peek at next weeks sketch.
