I haven't been online much of late, so my blog has been neglected. Most of my card creations have been items for selling at my market stall, and at a Hobby & Collectible Fair that I did last week. Now I'm in crazy mode, as I have another demo to do on Saturday evening, for a group of ladies that I've entertained before, and love my jewellery. Thankfully I have many new things to since we last met!
A brief bio of the card: it's a largie - A6 - of which I don't do many. Although I have been doing 6x6ers for blog challenges. I wanted the card to be simple, hoping to retain some elegance of the gorgeous embossed vintage lady, and the printed vellum behind her. So the card is just layers of cardstock and pearl paper, with some lovely satin ribbon and a few mulberry paper flowers with bead centres. I 'dolled' up the lady by beading wee pearls at her wrist and neckline, and adding the tiniest rosebuds and a mauve blossom in her hat. She has been adhered to the vellum 'loosely', so she appears to be detached from it (without using foamies height) ... I shaped her hat feathers to curl forwards. But the post will probably flatten it!
Hugs,
Pauline
