Fashionista 7

Finally finished for the Fashionista Friday #7 challenge over at If the Shoe Fits...Scrap It! blog.  I've had my idea of what to create ALL WEEK, and have only just been able to get it finished.  Mind you, I've been designing some more stitching patterns for cards, so I shouldn't be so exasperated, huh!

I must learn more about lighting when taking photos - the colours of the finished card are not accurately shown in my photo... the cardbase is actually darker, the patterned paper is more vintage gold and brown (rather than reddish) and the ladies image is more a vintagegolden sepia, rather than being so pale.  Grrrr....

Anyhoo.... I created the piece as a whole, then mounted it on the cardbase.  I've used:  the image is from a DP piece from the Fashionista range, mounted on black, centred on a vintage-ish DP, mounted on black. Around that whole, I've wrapped gold edged gold ribbon on the left, and net lace, and scalloped lace on the right.  The cream pearls on the right and in the image corners are sewn on.

I like the colour combo of the black and gold and brown.... must do more with black lace.... yummy! Hugs all round!
