Doodle Palace Challenge #9 It sure pays to read instructions! Here I was beefing my way through Sheryl's Challenge to create a Thankyou card using ribbon and a specific texture technique..... 'finished' I said, photo click, crop, upload.... upon reading the challenge again, I find I've done it wrong! Eeeek! The challenge was to use scrunched up plastic wrap and ink as a background texture technique. Well, I went ahead and completed my card using BUBBLE WRAP instead. I shall call this the Bubble Head technique. Anyway... I'll enter it in the challenge... maybe in the 'what not to do' category ... ha ha ha...
I textured chalk inks onto white CS, mounted on blue, and on a pink cardbase. I added a multicoloured lace, and a ribbon threaded lace. I have hand stitched in crocheted flowers and a Thank You epoxy tag, and continued stitching around the card. I finished off with a Magnolia image, coloured with Twinkling H2Os accented with Stardust Pens.
Off to bed now.... goodnight all!

LOL!! Sheryl's challenge at DP also got me!! My card was all done, I HAD used the plastic wrap technique... then I read the list again, THANKYOU CARD!! Argh!! I made a Christmas Card!!
It's all fun! BTW - Love your card and the Bubble Head Technique looks great!!
Thank you for doing the challenge - in fact you must have ESP because at first when I wrote the direction - I had written bubble wrap or plastic kitchen wrap - so not to fret!
Your card is adorable!!!
