Ingredients: Cardstock/Papers - Kaszazz, Portacraft; Le Plume Markers; Sakura Stardust Pens; Sakura Glaze Pens; Thin Leather Cord, Glass Black Beads....I coloured the image with markers, and accented the pendulum, some wooen trim and the clock hands with glitter and glaze pens. I also used glaze pens on the mousie's nose and eyes. I trimmed the image, and snipped off the mousie's tail... don't worry, it was intentional! I want the mouse to 'stand out' from the standard rectangular bookmark, so I made the layered bookmark smaller than the image.... so that mousie would stand out.
Before fixing the image to the bookmark, I took a piece of thin leather cord, tied glass beads to either end, and fixed it to the image..... so that it would replace the mousie's tail! Perfect spot, I thought. The other end extends from the top of the clock, so there are beaded tails hanging from both ends of my book .... when I get time to sit and read! And he is entered into these challenges around the blogosphere...
