Ingredients: Cardstock Portacraft; Deco Paper - unknown; Markers - Marvy Le Plume; Aquash water pen; Glaze Pen - Sakura; Pearl Beads - own stash; Metal bellies - ex-hair clips!
I coloured the image with markers, and a water pen. I blended the hat with blue and orchid colours, hoping to get a mottled, or felted look... which I think I achieved thanks to the fine pen detail in the image itself! I used glaze pen for her lips... the more I added the redder it got - I was hoping to keep it pink! Oops! I thought the swirls on the deco paper were Art Deco enough for her, so I used a simple matt layer to frame it. I didn't want to over embellish this image, but ended up going to town with metal and pearls anyway!
I don't usually print directly onto deco paper, but this time I did... I used the Broadway font for the sentiment... I need to practice getting colour and depth right when using the deco papers! Thanks for peepin'!

hi Pauline,
this card is just lovely, has a real 1920's look to it, I can just imagine this lady doing the Charleston.I love the job you have done with the hat as well
Youve done a fab job with her hat - I thought that it was felt / fabric at first! x
