Woofie in the Snow...

Okay, so we don't have a snowy Christmas here in Oz, but it is nice to think of.... I've had a Canadian white Christmas, and loved it.  My choice of image for this week's challenge at Michelle Perkett's Studio Happy Holidays Challenge is Woofie In The Snow....

Ingredients: Cardstock- Kaszazz; Chalk - Pebbles Inc.; Glaze Pens, Stardust Pens - Sakura; Glitter Sentiment - Upikit; Heart Rhinestones.

I thought this image would be just perfect for a special young friend I make cards for... she loves dogs!  I first coloured the image: white glaze pen for the snow covered trees, Brown Glaze for Woofie, Stardust pens for his hat and scarf. I used white glaze pen on his hat trim, then added glitter glue for more dimension when it was dry.  After all that was nice and dry, I added blue chalk for a subtle sky.  I finished the image with silver glitter glue to all the falling snowflakes.

After triple matting the image, and fixing it to the wonderfully textured cardbase, I added heart rhinestones to the corners.... and can you believe that they are mobile phone decorations!
